Sunny mornings set a good foundation for a happy Wednesday, don’t you reckon?
Perfect for a pre-teaching walk around the neighbourhood.
And perfect weather to get camera snappy for What I Ate Wednesday. Thanks Jenn from Peas and Crayons for inviting us to eat, share and cyber-socialise.
Breakfast was toast with cottage cheese and jam… my new combo. So good!
Morning tea was tea, duh, and a pear.
plus a handful of almonds and a slice of freshly baked bread and butter from the staffroom.
After school I went straight to gym to try out a new class- ABT (Abs, butt and thighs). It was a low intensity, as opposed to my usual body attack classes; but got right down to the core! Lots of intense planks, squats, floor leg work, crunches and the odd grapevine was thrown in for good measure 😉
Our instructor was chatting about how she has been teaching classes for 30 years. Wow! She was full of positive energy and made the workout quite entertaining.
After gym I came and had a bowl of minestrone soup to hold me over till dinner…a barbecue was on the menu..
Yum! Now chill time.
Oh and look at this City2Surf beauty… Josh and I crossing the finish line attempting to wave or something like that?!
Lol. Happy Wednesday Friends!
Have you tried any new exercise classes lately?
And what are some of your barbecue favourites? I could easily be vegetarian. I don’t crave meat or miss it, but when a good piece of my dad’s BBQ steak is put in front of me I always love it 🙂
That’s a great race picture! At BBQ’s, I’m all about the chicken or pulled pork, which is strange because I don’t crave pulled pork ever, lol.
Thanks Carrie! Mmm I love bbqed chicken as well
Chicken and turkey burgers. i don’t crave red meat or pork but somtimes it is really good.
I have been trying body pump, yoga, interval spin class and a circuit class. All are a ton of fun!
I need to get back into body pump! I always love it when I do it, but takes a lot more motivation to get me there as opposed to going for a run 😛
Your bbq dinner looks delicious!!! 🙂
Thanks Jessie!
Love those pictures of you, you’re gorgeous! 🙂
Cottage cheese and jam seriously is a winning combo,I can approve that. 😉
Thanks Kat!!
BBQ chicken is my favorite 🙂
I do enjoy that too! Especially in a good marinade 🙂
A good burger is always my fave! I’ll have to try toast with cottage cheese and jam- yum!
Let me know how u find it! You won’t be disappointed 😉
aw great picture!
Thanks Alex!
Another sunny delicious day my friend 😀
Cheers
Choc Chip Uru
Sure was 🙂
I just bought a pass for a month of kickboxing. I’m excited!
Wow that sounds awesome! Would love to give that try one day. Enjoy 🙂
I need to get on the pear bandwagon. Okay, there’s no real bandwagon but I never eat pears for some reason!
I hardly do either, but so yum!
Cottage cheese and jam = SO good!
The. Best.
Steak 🙂 my choice of meat! I tried a spin class this week – amazing workout, highly recommended for anyone who hasn’t done it.
I love spin! Hate it while I am there, but always feel so accomplished once the class has finished :p
Great pics, Kelly 🙂
Thanks Kayla!
Jam and peanut butter is even better!
That is debatable 😉
That picture of the trees is gorgeous! I haven’t tried any new classes in a long time, I’m too busy feeding my running addiction. But my husband just started a CrossFit class.
I am so keen to give CrossFit a try! When one hopefully opens up near to meI will be therein a flash. But totally with you on that running addiction thing 😉
