Sunny Foundations

Sunny mornings set a good foundation for a happy Wednesday, don’t you reckon?

Perfect for a pre-teaching walk around the neighbourhood.

And perfect weather to get camera snappy for What I Ate Wednesday. Thanks Jenn from Peas and Crayons for inviting us to eat, share and cyber-socialise.

Peas and Crayons

Breakfast was toast with cottage cheese and jam… my new combo. So good!

Morning tea was tea, duh, and a pear.

Lunch was a salad

plus a handful of almonds and a slice of freshly baked bread and butter from the staffroom.
After school I went straight Β to gym to try out a new class- ABT (Abs, butt and thighs). It was a low intensity, as opposed to my usual body attack classes; but got right down to the core! Lots of intense planks, squats, floor leg work, crunches and the odd grapevine was thrown in for good measure πŸ˜‰

Our instructor was chatting about how she has been teaching classes for 30 years. Wow! She was full of positive energy and made the workout quite entertaining.

After gym I came and had a bowl of minestrone soup to hold me over till dinner…a barbecue was on the menu..

Yum! Now chill time.

Oh and look at this City2Surf beauty… Josh and I crossing the finish line attempting to wave or something like that?!

Lol. Happy Wednesday Friends!

Have you tried any new exercise classes lately?Β

And what are some of your barbecue favourites?Β I could easily be vegetarian. I don’t crave meat or miss it, but when a good piece of my dad’s BBQ steak is put in front of me I always love it πŸ™‚
